F.A.Q.

Anybody who’s over 21 years old! Up-ROAR is open to the public and is a safe space for all adults, but the space is primarily curated to the LGBTQ+ community, the Furry Fandom, and adjacent communities (pups, gear, etc).

Tickets are $25 at the door but can be bought on this website in advance of the event for $22.00 (a 12% discount!). You can also buy tickets to the Tavern on Camac dinner function held before the event.

Doors for Up-ROAR! open at 9pm, but before the club event, we host a dinner at 254’s partner restaurant, Tavern on Camac. Tickets are limited and can be bought as an add-on to any Up-ROAR! ticket purchased online up to the day before the event. The menu is pre-fixe and includes an appetizer, entre, and cocktail. Additional cocktails can be bought at the Tavern bar on your own tab.

The dinner starts at 6pm and can generally be expected to end around 7:30 or 8pm, giving you time to settle before Up-ROAR doors open.

Parking can be found all around the venue. If you’re lucky, street spots can be found around the venue for a low price, but you’re probably better off finding a garage or lot. We recommend booking a spot in advance with a parking service (for example, SpotHero) around the venue.

Our staff’s favorite parking spots include Hamilton Garage (self park) located at 221 S 11th St, Philadelphia, PA or ABM Parking Services (valet) located at 1314 Spruce St, Philadelphia, PA 19107

We definitely recommend making accommodations in the city if you plan to consume alcohol or if you aren’t comfortable or accustom to driving past 2:00am. Hotels can be found all around the area. We recommend booking well in advance to make sure you get the best possible price for your room!

Street clothes are perfectly fine! However, if you want to go a little spicier, we permit a variety of gear options you may be interested in, including collars, harnesses, jock straps, etc.

254 follows strict Philadelphia bar rules and so a few things are prohibited:

  • Males can go shirtless but must have their ‘bits’ covered entirely.
  • Females may not have their nipples visible.
  • Diapers may not be worn without pants.
  • Nothing may be worn that may be dangerous or harmful to yourself and others, such as shock collars or sharp things.
  • Up-ROAR! and 254 staff members reserve the right to ask anyone to either change their clothes or leave the establishment if they are not dressed within the guidelines of the event.

Yes! We provide coat and bag checking services free of charge (but please consider tipping our staff!)
